How does it stay so stable when I tap the screen?
It uses a vacuum suction base. Press the base onto a clean, smooth, flat surface and lock it down, and the suction holds it in place while a strong magnet keeps your phone attached, even on rough roads and sudden stops. Wipe the spot with one of the included alcohol prep pads first for the best grip.
Is it easy to set up on a surface I have never used before?
Yes. Wipe the spot clean, press the suction base down and lock it, then unfold the arm and set your angle. There is nothing to drill or screw in. It works on car dashboards, windscreens, windows, mirrors and desks, as long as the surface is smooth and flat.
How often can I use it and will it wear out fast?
It is built for daily use across work, filming, study and cooking. It is made from alloy and ABS plastic in black, and the arm folds down and swivels 360 degrees, so it handles being set up and packed away every day. If it ever fails you within 30 days, we replace it or refund you, no questions asked.
Where can I actually use the StandPod?
On your car dashboard or windscreen for navigation, on a desk for video calls, on a kitchen benchtop while you follow a recipe, or on a mirror or window to film. Anywhere with a clean, smooth, flat surface works, and it folds down to travel with you.
Will my phone fit if I have a thick or bulky case?
It works with MagSafe iPhones straight away. For other iPhones and most Android phones, stick the included metal ring to your phone or case and the magnet will hold it. The head swivels 360 degrees, so you can use it in portrait or landscape.
Does it work with a charging cable or a ring light?
Yes. The StandPod is the base of your setup and pairs with the Axora charging cable so your phone stays powered through a full filming session, and with the Axora clip-on ring light so your night reels look bright and clean instead of yellow. Mount it, light it, charge it, and you have one setup that holds steady while you film.
